This project allows
direct keypad frequency entry into the Icom, as well as some other
useful functions.
As well, I upgraded the project with a CI-V interface.
This allows serial input from a
computer, which
controls the radio from one of the many programs available...

My homebrew keypad, designed with EAGLE CAD
software, iron transferred from laser printed acetate
onto copper board and etched with ferric chloride.
The top silkscreen is transferred the same way,
after the holes are drilled (to allow alignment).
